2010 Muster Wrap Up
The Royal on the Park in Brisbane played host to this years’ Ray White Rural Annual Muster on the 11th and 12th of February.
The new 1 day conference format saw a large number of the Ray White Rural team converge on Queensland’s capital city, eager to see what is on the horizon for Ray White Rural this year.
Brisbane lived up to its reputation and provided us with clear skies and a warm, balmy night for the welcoming cocktail party. Poolside at the Royal on the Park, attendees were able to enjoy the night, catching up with friends and meeting the many new faces set to join the Ray White Rural group this year. The chocolate fondue fountain proved to be a smash hit once again.
The new one day conference format saw attendees divided into 3 full day sessions. Administration and Property Management conference attendees were informed and entertained by Meg Talbot and Michelle Delaney. Russell Smyth gave Livestock Conference attendees the grazier’s point of view on the industry and of agents. Mark McLeod gave Sales conference attendees an insight into Databasing and Document Centre and Jim Pola informed on the importance of gaining greater exposure at no cost. In the afternoon group session, all attendees were introduced to the new Ray White Rural and Rural Bank agreement, were taken step by step through the auction process from listing to successful sale by George Hadgelias. To conclude the conference, Rob Robson, Chief Executive of One Harvest, took centre stage to share his experiences and entertained the group in his session titled “From Adversity to Opportunity – What a Kind Word and a Gun Can Do”
With the day drawing to an end, the gala dinner for the annual awards was fast approaching. With everyone dressed to impress, they gathered at the Victoria Park Golf Club to witness the sunset, in a location that can only be described as perfect. This is the night they had all been waiting for, eager to see who had achieved outstanding results in all areas of the rural industry.
33 salespeople made it into the highly respected Alan White Club, including our 2 rookies of the year, Lauren Croft and Kirsty Hermann. 9 salespeople achieved the Elite Performers status.
This year, 15 people were recognized for their 15 years of service to the Ray White Rural Group. Pam Moloney took out the respected Lex Heinemann Recognition Award for Services to Ray White Rural.
Sharon Neumann of Ray White Rural Gatton took out Personal Assistant of the Year while Megan Napier was awarded the Administrator of the Year award for her contributions to the Ray White Rural Atherton office.
This year saw the introduction of new property management awards to encourage those rural offices that are excelling in the area of property management. Michelle Delaney was on hand to present Ray White Roma with the Property Management growth award and the Property Management Team of the Year to Ray White Rural Beaudesert. Anita Zaher of Ray White Roma was the recipient of the Property Manager of the Year award.
Ray White Rural Katherine made their mark in the Ray White Rural group by taking out Top New Office and Most Improved Livestock Office.
Ray White Emerald were a stand out with their office taking out #1 Office in the Rural Network and team member Mark Muldrew taking out # 1 sales person in residential sales as well as the coveted # 1 Sales Person Overall. A special mention was made of Ray White Emerald’s achievement in reaching the International Top 100 of all Ray White Offices.
Roger Lyne of Ray White Rural Dalby was awarded # 1 sales person for rural sales and was presented with # 1 Livestock Office.
As the sun set and the celebrating and dancing subsided, the night of nights came to its conclusion, but left everyone with an enthusiasm to achieve more in 2010.
