Rural Annual Conference
On the 19th–21st February the Ray White Rural team got together at Radisson Resort on the Gold Coast for the Annual Conference and much anticipated Annual Awards night.
The Palm Meadows Club House was the perfect backdrop for the opening night, a picturesque setting where attendees were able to enjoy some light entertainment along with the chance to catch up with friends and colleagues and welcome the new members to the Rural group.
Friday the conference begun with excellent sessions including specialised auctioneer training, sessions to help you improve administration and office functionality and informative sessions on new technology and it’s use within a business.
Saturday continued with more enlightening sessions including ‘How to make a success of your real estate career’ with David Price and ‘Professional Property Management’ lead by Michelle Delaney.
The Awards Night on Saturday evening came around quickly – with a masquerade theme it was the night of nights and everyone was in high spirits with some marvellous, vibrant masks and some hilariously funny ones. The evening that everyone had been waiting for that held the results that everyone had been wanting to hear it recognised those who had achieved outstanding results in Property Sales, Property Management, Administration, Advertising, Photography and Livestock and this year there was plenty to celebrate!
26 Salespeople made it into the greatly respected Alan White Premier Club and a further 8 were honoured with Elite Performers status.
Miles Devlin of Ray White Rural Inverell and Craig Toohill of Ray White Rural Gatton tied for the much anticipated ‘Rookie of the Year’ Award, ‘Personal Assistant of the Year’ was awarded to Meredith Gooding of Ray White Rural Beaudesert, ‘Property Manager of the Year’ was taken out by Anita Zahner of Ray White Rural Roma and Rhiannon Aldous of the Emerald office received the ‘Administrator of the Year’ award.
Ray White Rural Biloela won the ‘Top Auction Office’ after a huge effort – conducting 50 auctions in 2008 and ‘Photographer of the Year’ was awarded to Rob Patterson from Ray White Rural Moree.
A Special Award, the ‘Lex Heinemann Recognition Award for Services to Ray White Rural’ was awarded to Mark and Patsy Fennell of Ray White Rural Mount Isa – veterans within the group.
Bruce Gunning of Ray White Rural Sydney took out ‘Number 1 Sales Achiever, Rural Network’ and the Sydney office also won ‘Number 1 Rural Office 2008.’
All in all, it was a fabulous evening of food, entertainment and a little bit of fantasy, celebrating the successes and achievements of the Ray White Rural group in 2008 – the night was a great incentive for all the Rural member to work hard and achieve even more in 2009!
