Buyer Interest Boosts Growth and Business Expansion

A rewarding country lifestyle, away from the hustle and hurry of metropolitan areas, is still high on a lot of people’s wish list. So the town of Tenterfield continues to enjoy strong enquiry from buyers

Consequently, the team at Ray White Rural Tenterfield have moved into a new larger office, where a larger staff can accommodate the widest range of client requirements. The new office also incorporates an in-house auction room, where regular real estate and rural property auctions will be conducted.

Auctions have been an integral part of Ray White Rural Tenterfield’s strategy over the past twelve months. Successful marketing campaigns have been run for “Lilyvale” (sold under the hammer for $2.7 million) and “Glencolvin” (sold under the hammer for $2.0125 million). Several other rural properties have been Birchsold successfully at auction, boosting Tenterfield’s rural properties sales to over $15 million.

Real estate sales are competently handled by Darrell Tickle and Libby Sharpe. At this year’s Ray White Rural Awards, Darrell’s high level of settled sales saw him become a member of the Alan White Premier Club. Libby divides her time between a growing rent roll and a busy schedule of residential real estate sales.

Livestock sales continue to be an integral part of the business, keeping livestock manager Ben Sharpe busy with weekly fat cattle sales and monthly store sales. This year has been particularly hectic, due to increased numbers of cattle on offer and the growth in elite sales such as the Tenterfield Beef Bonanza and the feature Angus sale. Stud stock sales are also on the increase, with success this year for the Remolea Poll Hereford and Sara Park Angus Sale conducted by Ray White Rural in Tenterfield, and the Nairn Park Angus sale conducted on property in July at Moona Plains, Walcha.
